A British national, Susan Barke has lived in France for over 30 years, and during this time she has acquired an in-depth knowledge of the difficulties French people encounter in speaking English.

After 25 years of experience as a language teaching professional, Sue presents her courses with creativity and imagination, stimulating her trainees to express themselves correctly in an atmosphere of trust.

Drawing on her own professional experience in business, marketing, and administration when she worked in the UK for a leading retail company, Sue ensures each session is targeted and pertinent.  Sue knows how important it is to identify individual learning needs to make sure that the course content is always relevant, useful and professional.

Sue has run her own professional English language training company since 2007 providing English training for companies based all over France.

Since 2017 Sue has been part of the english-podcasts.com team, a joyful partnership providing 100s of up-to-date podcasts, quizzes and blog tips, covering a wide range of news topics, sport and business.

Sue studied at London University where she obtained a BA in History and Politics (1980) and a BA in French (2002).
